Accepted by the company board of leaders,the executive panel of Dinh Vu Port’s trade union,onMarch 08th, 2019, organized a tour to visit Tam Chuc pagoda (Ha Nam province) and Nom pagoda (Hung Yen province) for female staff on the anniversary of  Int’l Women’s Day - March 08th.

Tam Chuc pagoda includes in the Tam Chuc tourist complex in Ba Sao town, Kim Bang district, Ha Nam province, about 60km to the west of Ha Noi centre, 12km from Phu Ly. Tam Chuc tourist site locates on the national road 21A in junction with Hoa Binh province, Ninh Binh, Ha Noi and 4km from Huong Son tourist site (Ha Noi) as the crow flies. Tam Chuc pagoda complex with area of 5,100ha, of which nearly 1,000ha of lake, 3,000ha of rocky mountain, natural forest with many velleys, is surrounded trilaterally by the range of That Tinh mountain, front Tam Chuc lake with six mountains. Tam Chuc pagoda alone with area of 144ha together with many constructions such as Ngoc pagoda, Dien Tam The, Dien Phap Chu, Dien Quan Am, Int’l convention center…


Tam Chuc tourist site recognized as national tourist site by the Prime Minister according to the Decision No. 201/QĐ-TTG dated January 22nd, 2013 is an attractive spiritual destination with majestic beauty of immense water & mountains and named as “dry Halong bay”. Now, Tam Chuc pagoda is being under construction, when completed, it will become a holder of many records in the South East Asia and the world such as 12,000 murals made of vocanic stones depicting histories of Buddha engraved by Indonesian Islamic in Indonesia before moving them to Vietnam; Dien Tam The with the height of 39m, floor area of 5,400mwhere 5,000 buddhist followers can pray at the same time; below Dien Tam The is Dien Phap Chu where a bronze statue of 150 tons locates; a garden of 99 giant stone pillars of which each one is 13.5m high, over 20 tons in weight engraved with buddhist teachings

The unique scenery of romantic beauty, rare & large scale, a beauty of special artful architecture with many sole treasures makes culturists to predict Tam Chuc pagoda to become the biggest pagoda in the world and the world heritage in the future.

The second place in the tour is Nom pagoda within relic complex of Nom village, Dai Dong commune, Van Lam district, Hung Yen province - a famous big pagoda exist with many ancient features in the North. Legend has it that, Nom pagoda was built in the pine forest so it was also called Linh thong co tu(solemn pine ancient pagoda). Nobody remembers exactly when the pagoda came into existence but it is known that, on two big carved stelae, the pagoda was rebuilt in 1680. This pagoda is widely famous for over 122 mysterious statues of different sizes made of earth, locate around, typical art of statue carve in 18th century. On the yard of pagoda, there is the Lau Quan Am that locates in the middle of a green lake, in the the shades of tall trees of hundreds of years old, ancient walls creating relaxing, solemn feelings for visitors.


A visit to Tam Chuc pagoda and Nom pagoda on the anniversary of Int’l Women’s day - March 08th, 2019 has created a joyful, happy atmosphere for female staff of Dinh Vu Port to work more enthusiastically, to contribute to the company’s common success and to keep a fine feature for the movement of union and business culture of Dinh Vu Port.
